About me

I have a calm, reassuring, engaging and professional manner and am open to issues of difference and diversity. As a visually impaired man, I have become aware that this has further facilitated my non-judgemental attitude towards clients.

As a registered member of the BACP, I have a Diploma in the Adlerian approach to counselling, and also integrate aspects from other approaches such as CBT and the Person-Centred models. Encouragement is a crucial foundation to my work.

My main counselling experience has been within a GP surgery, supporting a wide range of mental health topics, including depression, anxiety, self-worth, work stress, relationship issues, childhood and domestic abuse, and suicidal ideation.
